Why can't i comment on a yt-channel even with different accounts?

I'm sure the channel owner on this one channel blocked me from commenting on their channel, since I can comment on other channels. But here is the thing, when I used my other account (which I hardly ever use) to comment on that same channel I still couldn't comment, I was blocked. But I can comment on all other channels with both. So does Youtube make it so that when a channel owner blocks you, it is based on ip-address?

    Hey, does the video say "Comments Disabled" below it? If it does, no one can comment on that video.

      No it does not. I am aware that "Comments Disabled" means no one can comment. There are a lot of people who have commented on that video. I can comment but when I log out my comment is not there, but when I log in I can see it there, but no one else can see it, so it is hidden by the channel owner.

        Your comments do not just stay at the top of the list. They tend to get sent down a ways.

          You see your own comments at the top. Everyone else sees them further down the list.

            I have never had my comments stay at the top for me. They always tend to go down the list a few comments.

    Use a VPN and try. Download a VPN. Run the VPN, Make a new account, and then comment. It should work. Make sure you dont use the VPN while being logged into your old account because it might associate your new IP address with that account and ban you.

      Don't i have to pay for VPN? But anyway, I'm just gonna report most of the videos on that channel. Not sure that will do, I'm already banned so whatever. Guess I'm just trying to get even.

            "Snap VPN". sorry it took so long brother. It's the best free VPN I've found. Can get it on google play and maybe Iphone.

    Try a VPN. Id that doesn't work then it's just something they've done, probably, and not due to them blocking you

        Nothing to you, I don't think. It would be a terrible policy if everyone who reports your vids get blocked. Unless you're going to all of them and obviously just reporting for the sake of it? I would get a friend to look up the channel and see if it's still there, maybe they just deleted it.

          I haven't reported any of their videos, their channel is still up. I just can't comment on any of their videos, since they have blocked me. I am guessing they probably didn't like a question i might have asked. I was subbed to this channel since it started. So, lol, yes I feel angry and annoyed. So I was thinking to just report their videos to get even in some way. They just blocked me out of no where. Yes I understand it's their channel and they can do what ever they want, so in that case I can go and report their videos for fun. I'm pretty sure non of their videos will be taken down anyway, but they will get a notification of it being reported by some anonymous user.

    Maybe the channel owner has hidden individual comments from both of your accounts as they come in, because they don't like them for some reason.

      But how would they know I'm the same user??? I did not say anything mean or offensive with any of the accounts. This is the comment I wrote with my second account "This was informative".

        In that case, it sounds like you are probably correct about them banning an IP address. Or maybe they just censor an IP address for a short period of time until it's established whether or not the other account's comments are also worthy of banning. Or maybe they only accept so many comments from a certain IP address every 24 hours.

        Are you the same person who posted about YouTube before? If so I would direct you to the comment I made there - YouTube are a bullshit business. Don't waste your energy worrying about them.

          No, I'm not that user. I guess owners of the channel can block who ever they want even if the commenter is not breaking any guidelines. Guess I can just go and report their channel just for fun too then. Don't think I would get any consequences for that.
