Why do guys call their tesicles nuts?

    They are roughly the same shape and size as walnuts.

    They serve a function sort of like nuts or seeds.

    None of us "modern" people would TRULY know the reason. The term has been around since the late 1800s/early 1900s.

    The best guesses are what WeirdGuy said and the attribution of nuts/seeds creating life. It's also just easier to say "nuts" or "balls" over "testicles" in casual conversation.

    It’s just slang that has developed over time due to the similarity in shape and it’s not a “medical” term so people feel more comfortable saying it

    In arabic the slang for testicles is the same word as eggs. Essentially all languages have some slang and mostly for the same reasons. Sperm (life) and the shape.
