Why do i desire speed on my motorcycle but drive slow in my car?

I drive at or below the posted speed limit when in my car and especially when the family is with me. My Harley~Davidson is another story. When on it, it is a single seater 'cause I'm afraid of a lawsuit by the way I drive. I'll get on the Interstate and ride between 80-85 to 100+ mph. Is it normal to have rushes like this?

I could have wrote this myself.

I drive an old antique truck and it pretty much goes the speed limit. My 1200 sportster, however, is much more exhilarating and demands that I twist that throttle. That's not to say that I drive it irresponsibly though. Most of the time I just cruise, but every once in a while I just have to gun it!

I would imagine it has to do with the "Connection" you feel with the machine, the wind, and the road.

He was a decent Trooper, it was around 3am and no traffic at all. He said if there was traffic he would've put me in jail and have my scoot towed. He let me go with a very stern warning. He respected me and I respect him for the way he handled the situation.

I've never liked the look of those, but I'll bet they are really fun to ride though.

Ride a foreign bike then ride a Harly~Davidson. Here's where you tell a Cadillac from Moped

BMW's are some of the most precisely engineered machines there is, but I understand what you are saying. Personally, I'm not against sport bikes, but I do know it's a pretty common prejudice amongst American motorcycle riders.

Oh, and I ride a Harley Davidson Sportster 1200 by the way.
