Why do i feel my bed shaking

I keep feeling shaking. Sometimes it's faint. Others it's sooo strong. I can be away from it and I can feel it. Is this all in my head.

    OMG me too! I live in Maryland, not California. My bed is on the second floor, and I've wondered if it's possible that I can feel the faint vibrations of the somewhat major road a couple blocks away. That's just a guess, though.
