Why do i find moles gross?

What is wrong with me? I have a terrible problem with moles on people & it's so dern superficial that I just can't understand WHY moles gross me out so much. They don't seem to bother anyone else. I just want to know why they bother me so much & how can I get rid of this rediculous "whatever it is" & enjoy all the sweet people that have moles without focusing my eyes on "their spots" & enjoy their beauty.

    You're right; an aversion to moles is superficial, but we live in a superficial age where we're surrounded by images of unnaturally flawless faces and bodies, so congratulations on meshing so neatly with the zeitgeist.

    Hello! I just joined and you’re going to be the first one I comment to on here. I feel the same way as you. I don’t understand it myself. I’m actually afraid(?) of them/getting them. I don’t know what it is about them. I’m a recent graduate but there was this girl covered in them that sat across from me in school and I couldn’t help but stare (she didn’t catch me). I hate how some people’s are hairy as well. I feel so upset with myself when it comes to people’s moles because I always, always, always, tell myself looks never matter and they don’t matter. So when I catch myself staring at a spot on someone, I feel so down on myself. I feel so judgmental. I thought I was the only one. Occasionally I’d try to google this question myself, but nothing would ever come up. I completely get you though. I’d never want one, I’m scared of getting one, I don’t want to touch one, and I feel bad for that. I don’t know what our deals are, but maybe one day we’ll get an answer, eh?

      You made me laugh so hard! Thank you for that. I try not to "judge" people who have moles...especially hairy ones. I can love that person (not in love where I'd have to get close or touch) for who they are & try not to look at them. Seems they're getting very popular. Some beautiful actors & models have them although C Crawford really needs to "lose" hers. It's bigger & changing colors. Dangerous. Yuk....

    I personally would have had the mole removed as soon as I could afford it.
    Yea, call me superficial etc.
    It's my preference.
    I don't like door dings on my car either.
    It's not sexy, cute, or add to the cars character.

    I found moles gross too, mainly because I had one and because I hated it. Had it since birth and I tried removing it but it didn’t work. I gained confidence after my dance instructor called my mole sexy. But either way now that I realize it moles are a unique and cute way of beauty.
