Why do people wish for certain groups of people to diie?
I don't get it. Doesn't hating every single person of a certain age, sexuality, gender, disability or other difference get tiring after a while? Can someone explain it to me?

I don't get it either, the extreme politics from both spectrums is amplified because of a bunch of algorithms. Most people are more alike than different and are very friendly in person
"none of them have had cartoon hatred for minorities"
no, they just have a very real iteration of it that has existed in history for ages now where they want to exterminate and/or "physically remove" people from groups they consider inferior or detrimental to whatever revanchist utopia they're trying to establish
Because legitimately some people NEED to die.
I dont spout it often, repeating it is fruitless beside virtue signaling to other people. Which now that I think of it, is nigh the exclusive reason people do it.
I don’t know I think it’s pretty easy to hate, it’s just a fallback position to a lot of other stuff and the path of the least resistance to the negativity that life at least seemingly is full of. You really have to actively challenge that and cultivate your inner world to quash it properly
Usually they’re trolling, but in genuine cases I suspect a lot of stupid plays a part.
if you're for the right, you ain't against hate, and if you're for the state, you ain't against violence.
I know what you MEAN, but the first thing I thought of was stuff like:
"Stupid people should stop breeding."
"<*insert terrorist organization or hostile country here*> should be nuked."
"<*opposite political/religious affiliation*> need to go away, they're bad for society."
Heck, as soon as someone uses "they", I get suspicious. It's like it's okay to hate people that we deem hateful, because hate in a loop somehow eventually turns into not-hate?
Nothing new... but it has been getting better. It's not a circle it's a spiral going up. Now instead of "every group that isnt in my group needs to die" its "very specific group that needs to die"
So the acceptability for other groups of people is increasing. Doubt hate crimes will end in my lifetime (or at all)
Bottom line is that we all have groups of people we hate enough where we wouldnt shed a tear over them miraculously all dying. If you dont I find you extraordinarily weird.
I don't believe it's getting better. It's still a circle, it's just shifted and grown. There tends to be so many "very specific groups" that they combine to form a large group that's pretty close to "every group except mine", since if I liked them, I probably included them in my own group.
I reserve that kind of thinking for rapists and killers, not just generally mean or spiteful people, the vast majority of which haven't done anything.
Are you saying certain ppl dont deserve to die? Ill bet you dont disagree with killing terrorists or whoever else you believe should be killed. We just disagree who should be killed.
Most people hate whatever group I'm in which is why I hate everybody else automatically until they have proven themselves to be an accepting person.
