  • I know of nothing more complex and mysterious as my dreams.

The same dream repeating itself is quite common and normal and usually means either you have an unresolved issue from the past or something during the day has reminded you of a past issue. There's also a theory that everyone appearing in a dream is an aspect of the dreamer.

Sometimes it's possible to get clarity by focussing when you wake up on the feeling or feelings the dream has uncovered and work from there.

Whatever you do, don't rely too much on any of the dream symbol books: they all have different versions of symbolic meanings, almost always based on superficial pop psychology.

Sure, dreams can wake us up in emergencies, for example, dreaming about fire and waking up to find your house is burning around you because you've obviously smelt the smoke in your sleep.

What's the content of your repetitive dream anyway?

I rarely have nightmares or even what you would call bad dreams. I am sometimes naked in my dreams but mostly just cool things going on.

Just your brain processing and dealing with the things in your memory.
