Why do women even have a sex drive?

1. Dopamine + other chemicals in the brain. If women didn't experience dopamine +others from sex and the partner they're with, birth rates would be low and men would be sexually frustrated nonstop, and rape will be at an all time high as well as death rates if women choose to take the law into their own hands.

2. If women can't experience sexual pleasure, sex will just be painful, dry and awkward, because when we get excited our vagina will self lubricate during sex. Without that pleasure, both involved will just get friction burn (yeah, it happens) or have to spend a lot of money on lubricate to do an activity the woman hardly wants to take part in.

3. Some studies revealed that female orgasm creates a higher chance for a male offspring. What I've read is when women experience an orgasm accompany with fluids (squirting) during sex, it helps sperms cells travel. It's been mentioned that female sperm cells are larger, slower and can live longer, while male sperm are small and fast but can't live as long. Fluids from the woman during orgasm + sex can boost the chances of male sperm reaching it's destination. However, it's something I've read but haven't tested, but other women who were trying for a boy claims this technique works.

4. Signals. Women sex drive increases during ovulation week. Though many of us don't make it as obvious and some make it too obvious, you can see it in our body language when we appear more confident, approachable, and wearing clothes we don't normally wear (long sundress, a cute mid-length skirt, new hairstyle, etc); these are natural signals that men pick up on when they see a fertile woman, especially our husbands/boyfriends. With these urges in play, the change in our appearance and more creates a higher chance of reproducing.

There's probably more to it I can list off cause I read shit like this for fun (just do a google deep dive), but I can tell you that if women never experience arousal then the world would be much more chaotic than it is now.

Explain also why post menopausal women who obviously cannot conceive experience sexual desire and pleasure?

To my mind, it's a sign of a great advance in the human species that sexual pleasure has become totally separate from the desire to reproduce more human beings in an already overcrowded world with diminishing resources. In fact, it could be the greatest evolutionary step of all time, not to mention that it's REALLY GOOD FUN!

Reproduction. All living things are biologically programmed to want survive and to reproduce. It's the reason for most things. The human race must continue.

Thats what I'm arguing god dammit! Why is ppeasure nessecary for reproducing? If you want kids, you have them, if you don't want em, you pull out or use a condomn or whatever. Pleasure would not swing such a valuable descion especially when you can use contraceptives.

Here's the thing. Females have two sex drives. One is the purely physical one, the "horniness". But this one is secondary. The primary one is the "ego drive", the instinct, which is what typically settles their decision whether to bang or not to bang. The ego tells them to get something for it, a reason to put out, otherwise they feel bad about it. And what fulfills it is the resources they extract from the guy (time, energy, money, status, etc.) And that's why "being horny" is pretty much irrelevant, since the other drive is what typically settles it.

By the way, males also have two sex drives: the physical one, and the instinctive one. They get horny physically, but their ego one is to just "having banged." So they crave sex physically, and also instinctively. That's why they always seem "on the hunt" and down for it even when they're not particularly horny.

Being sexually wanted or not was never really an obstacle for men laying women down. Or else there wouldn't be such a thing as rape, or arranged marriages in the past, and prostitution would be almost nonexistent.

And what makes you think these women don't want those men? Women want whoever manages to get them, by making himself powerful or indispensable enough to do so. Why are so many women attracted to rich men, to men with money? They want to have a piece of that lifestyle, security, and power that wealth provides, and so they want the man who provides that. That's one of the things that make a man desirable, and as such, they'll submit to him in order to get it.

Well, as a john, I'm also the man with the money. And so the hooker depends on me and on other johns to get that money so she can pay her rent, or mortgage, to get material security, maintain a certain lifestyle, or whatever. That makes those men wanted, needed, and therefore desired as mates, as she can only get that money if she offers herself to them and submits. It's a kind of power, being needed, depended on, and that power sort of forces her to suck their dicks. That's her "reason" to have sex with them.

So I think you're underestimating how being a source of income, or anything financial, can make the man himself an attractive mate. But again, even if we weren't sexually appealing to them, it still wouldn't be a problem to most men so long as they get them to bend over for them at the end of the day.

As to the guys with seemingly nothing to offer. As I said in that other comment, money isn't the only thing a man can provide. He can offer a relationship for example. Actually, the typical relationships among young people don't involve much money since most young men are broke. But there are other values that can be traded for sex. There's that Rachel Feinstein comedian, and in one of her specials called Only Whores Wear Purple, she talked about a relationship of hers with some erratic drunk of a guy. She said that he brought excitement and entertainment to her life like no other, and that she stuck with him just for that reason. Plus, she wanted to have a man's chest to put her head on at the end of the day. Being exciting, thrilling, providing a masculine presence, those are all various non-sexual values a man can have, and he can make obtaining sex as a condition for him to provide them.

Just looking at the comments already made, I just wanna mention that birth rates would drop exponentially if women simply never wanted to have sex ever. If any respectful dude asks for sex, and get a no, then that's that. In this hypothetical, the answer would almost always be a no, as no female on the planet is in the mood, ever.

To answer your question of why it exists: Any women who did not have a sex drive had way less sex than those who had one. Natural Selection at it again.

Well while there is pleasure in it, it's also a way to feel closer to the one I love, so I guess love is one of my reasons.

For the single chicks that have one night stands, it's purely pleasure. They're not looking to have a kid, but they won't have to take that risk if they use protection. Though most chicks I knew over the years that are into hook ups admit they never use contraceptive methods because they say they like how a dick feels without a condom or they'll say they like taking risks since the risk is arousing. I don't have one night stands so I'm just going by what they said to me. (Then there were also some I knew that purposly got pregnant to get money from the guy, so I guess money was a factor for some chicks.) I'm not trying to speak for people who are into hookups nor am I trying to insult them.
