Yup. No tea. At all. Because it has small amounts of caffeine in it, which is an "addictive substance." lol.

Mormon's suck. although i hate jehovah's witnesses more. Jehovah's come to my house and annoy the shit out of me. They annoyed me so bad i put please give blood stickers on the door, that'll show those bastards who think it's ok to let their children die than give them a blood transfusion. If i was a jehovah and my kid needed a transfusion i'd say fuck religion my baby ain't goin nowhere without a fight. Anyone that would let their child die instead is one sick fucker and need their heads screwed on if they can't see anything wrong with it.

Those religions are just God's way of genetically engineering the human race.

hahaha I HATE the bikes. I'm kind of amazed that they get around to bothering SOOO many people in a day... Just riding around on their bikes.

They try to push their religion on you worse than any other religion. They look cynical in their ties riding bikes around with elder nebakanezer name tags with beady eyes like they're missing part of their brain.

They are just very weird people but If I ever wanted to be enslaved by a cult someday I would probably pick this religion because they're so twisted and act so weird I would want to get in their heads

Ja, I think everyone here hit it spot on. My point being that they are kind of wasting their lives. :S I actually have the right to say that though, because I was forced to go to church for the greater part of my childhood.

The mormon church outlawed polygamy around 1890. (I'm not sure of the exact date it was outlawed). Their are different sects in the mormon church. The church of latter day saints is affiliated with mormons. My point is not all mormons are polygamist. Most mormon people don't practice polygamy, they denounce polygamy, and don't want to be associated with polygamist at all.

it's just another religion to me. and to the person above me, don't feel bad the Christians here in Alabama treat me like shit because I'm not Christian. I couldn't even get a job in the little hick town where me and my husband live because they all know I'm not like them. It's shitty to be treated like shit of your different.

Help me understand. If a man has several wives he creates more little mormons and God is happy. Is it then true that if a man can not have children and his wife has sex with many men to get pregnant does she also get this love from God for making more little mormons?

My niece lives in Salt Lake City and a few weekends ago they had some kind of big Mormon homecoming. She, her husband and a few friends went to Vegas for the weekend so they wouldn't have to put up with them.

Before she got married, she did clinic duty in the rural areas. The parents were less interested in what was wrong with their kids than in why she wasn't married yet.

I find it a bit ironic that there are people here calling me a boring, lame, lifeless racist because of my religious beliefs. That's not prejudiced at all. But I respect your right to insult me, even though I don't know any of you. It's funnier how many of the folks that I have seen preach tolerance are the ones that harp about how I'm such a terrible person. I let them finish before telling them that I am a Mormon = LULZ

I go to college, work full-time, I'm not a racist or prejudiced or what have you, I have my own things to worry about. Most of my friends are not Mormon, many are atheists that I have little interest in converting (if you want to find God, do it yourself), and I have many friends of different denominations and I attend their church services every now and then. I don't ride around on a bike (I drive a T-Bird, can't drag race a bike), and I'm too busy to bash non-Mormons. I only talk religion with those who ask and I am subject to constant criticism to which I do not respond in anger. I am not orthodox nor are any of my fellow Mormons (we look down on those guys. They are losers.) and when I am not at church, work, school, the drag-strip etc. I'm hittin the bong, which is permissible in the church with a prescription.

But no, I am a horrible, horrible, boring racist. But, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I guess.
And I don't give a fuck whether ot not gays get married, might boost the adoption rates.

Mormon people are actually quite nice people.. But I just don't agree with studying under the 'Mormon Book' I only study and read the Holy Bible and I just have different beliefs than Mormons.. It really isn't anything personal.

I had many in my neighborhood growing up. Every single one of them felt it was okay to be mean and nasty to me because I wasn't Mormon. They took their anger with other Mormons out on me because I wasn't Mormon, so that's okay. Then they tried to tell me I wasn't Christian because I was Catholic. (not that i am currrently).

Then I found most religions were doing the same thing. I will have no part in that.

Totally. My dad grew up in a small Utah town, and is also gay. He faced a lot of discrimination because he was a "Sinful gay Homosexual" and what not. No matter how many times they deny it, they are still bigoted towards gays.

Oh, they TOTALLY are! I've never met a Mormon who's denied it.

By the way, I don't think that the options you gave are negative, like what Betsy wrote, they are all true & simple facts about their religion, and I DO happen to know a considerable amount about it.

I'm not a mormon, but it's not fair to only point out the negatives of a religion and not the positives. I am not really familiar with the mormon religion but I feel like you're being very biased.

In fact, I am not. I was raised a Mormon, and there really aren't many "good" things to say about their religion. I am not trying to point out all of the bad things, just the most prominent ones. I know first hand what I'm talking about... Not just "assuming" things about the religion; if that's really what you insist on calling it.

I've had mormon friends, chill and funny people. I don't know a whole lot about it but most people think it is nonsense. Mormons are peoples too people. The family part does creep me out a little though, it seems artificial or unnatural but what do I know, I didn't have a good family growing up. I also heard some rumor about racism. They do however need to understand no means no! I don't want your bible! I am who I am, if I get religious then maybe I'll check it out but I am 500050000% not religious.

The mormons stand out because they wear suits everywhere and just have a creepy look about them.

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • They are boring and ride stupid bikes with ugly suits everywhere and try to force their religion on everyone who will give em the time of the day. Mormons have no life. Usually I don't tell others they have no life because that's normally what people who need to get a life themselves say but Mormons' actually have no life and so that's an exception to the rule. Once, I chased them off in my underwear when they came to my house and pretended I was gay and had a crush on them. They don't like gays so they figured I couldn't ever be "saved" and haven't bothered me since.
