I installed 2 CCTV cameras with audio and i have the app IVMS-4500 and it was pausing the audio every 2-3 seconds and is extremely staticky , the technician said it just your connection is weak, i dont , what do you guys think?
Well if a tech who's ya know smart about this stuff says weak connection I’d assume yeah probably weak connection.
Thanks for the reply and what about the static? I observed the cameras on the highest internet speed which im paying 100 bucks a month for it, so i dont know maybe its not good quality audio device? Because I learned never to assume until i solve the problem.
When I read weak connection I figured weak audio connection like as in the wires are faulty. Not so much the internet side of a weak connection. Look at your audio wiring and see if anything had a bad connection like not fully connected or is torn and wiring exposed. Maybe some new audio wiring could do the trick?
As for the static I personally don’t think that’s to odd if the wiring had a bad connection because it would cut in and out and have those types of complications I’d assume. Just like how if it was say the power supply had a faulty connection it may cause the system to boot loop and have a mental breakdown. It would keep trying to work but had something in the way same with your audio. Totally guessing here btw.
Yea sounds like weak connection/bad wire most likely connection. If it makes you feel better i used to work security so I know a little about this stuff, but I would trust yoyr tech. They know what they are doing
Thank for your feedback. Is the constant loud static the result of the weak connection as well? And can you be more specific in explaining what the bad wiring might be or what would constitute bad wiring?
On that I cannot say just something I've experinced with bent up frayed wires. It happens. Honestly on noise I cannot say I always keep cameras muted cayse I can't stand the noise gives me headaches. However sounds like it could be whwt your watching it on as most cameras don't have speakers. If they do I would consult your tech
If the pausing audio situation i’m having, is the result of bad wiring connection, maybe it wouldn’t be wise to bring the same technician, because he is the one that had installed them at the first place..
