Why would a 25 year old call a 30 year old "old lady"?

I don't even notice any difference between 25 and 30?

My friend and I were at a gathering with people from 21-40 I'd say.

Anyway we are both 30. There was this girl who for some odd reason didn't seem to like my friend right away without knowing her? She is 25. So she said to my friend out of nowhere "Must suck being an old lady. Are you both 30? Excuse me but I'm going to hang with the people my age not old ladies" and did a hair flip and sigh??

We didn't do anything. I didn't even say anything other than my name lol and my friend was really friendly to her so it's so weird? No?

    It's a her thing. Most of my friends are in their 20s along the spectrum and im 29

    Lol she's only five years younger. I'm almost 27 and my oldest sibling and would be 34 if he was still alive.
