Will facebook ever get old?

I personally wish people would get over facebook and watch it die hard like myspace. But I was wondering if that will ever happen.

    It will die, don't worry. Proof? Tom joined facebook.

    We should get a group and start making a new website so we can make millions, make a movie on how we created the website and then sellout and never be heard of again. Sound like a plan?

    When a better social network comes along, FB will die, just as myspace died because FB came along, and it was better than myspace.

    Facebook is the market leader by a million miles and its only growing.

    I place Google in the same category as Facebook. Internet giants who won't be overtaken as they could easily buy out anything that comes close to them. Look what happened to youtube.

    I signed up very, very early indeed for Facebook and then watched everyone arrive. I'm probably a good few years further down the line than most and I have no interest in it now. I've perhaps logged in five times in the past two years. When the tendency comes to be people leaving, rather than arriving, I think the momentum will carry vast numbers away.
