Windows 11 is better?

Yeah, I've been surprised with how well it plays games (I've only tested about 10 games so far though). If a game is native to Linux then it will obviously have no trouble with that, but realistically very few games are native to Linux. You can still play Windows games on Linux too though.

Steam has an in-built compatibility tool now called Proton, which makes Windows games play on Linux (you just need to enable Steam Play within the Steam program). It makes installing and playing the games no different to Windows. The compatibility will vary between games though, you can check the website protondb.com to see which games run well and which don't. Most games seem to work well though.

I've also played some games from GOG. It's a slightly more lengthy process to install and play these (and this process is also the same for Humble Bundle games). You don't just download the game's .exe file and open it, like in Windows. You need to install a program called Lutris. Then when you want to install a game, you first download its .exe file as normal. But rather than opening it directly, you go to the lutris.net website and search for the game there and click install. The Lutris program will then open, and you then navigate to the game's .exe file using Lutris. And then Lutris will install the game for you. It's easy once you figure it out and you've done it a few times.

I'd say altogether I've had about a 70-80% success rate with my games, although I haven't tested many (one GOG game that it didn't work with required Dosbox to run, so maybe it won't work with these Dosbox games?). I've also gotten the PCSX2 and RPCS3 emulators to work. Let me know if you have any more questions about it.
