When the Dr tells you that you've got to undress to any degree, or put on a gown, and then leaves the room, do you worry that he'll come back too quickly and catch you while you're still undressing/naked?
And then soemtimes you barely make it, and sometimes he's gone for a longer time....they should just time it so it's the same every time!!

about 6 weeks ago, my annual physical was scheduled, my doc was gone so I had a replacement. she came in and went over some numbers and told me to get undressed and she'd be right back. She's gonna see me naked anyway (no gown provided), so why step out for me to get undressed?
Im really comfortable with my doctor, because no matter what blemish i have i know that hes probably seen someone uglier or fatter
I used to worry about that at the gyno. But why? He's about to shove stuff up your cooter so does it really matter if he sees you neked? No, but I still change as quick as possible :p
Most times I've been to the doctor they check first before coming in.
Then again the doctor can't always "time" it because....
1) Not everyone takes the same amount of time to get 'ready'
2) The doctor is often dealing with other patients. I mean it's not like you're the only one he or she is going to see for the day.
3) The doctor also has other work to do while waiting for you to get ready
No, I am not worried that the Doctor might catch me in my "BIRTHDAY SUIT" he is a Docotor and see's many a bare naked body during his days, that is the way it is. So, Grin and Bare it if he or she does. :D
I never have to undress unless I'm at the gynecologist, which I always make sure is a female (I am female). I undress and get the gown on super quick because I don't want them to walk in on the in-between dressings.. They always seem to take forever to come back though, and when they do they always knock first to make sure its okay.
the way i feel is that if you are going to him and you need a gown why worry, he is going to examine you anyways and if it's your cooter then it is you're going to show him any. hell you might even get a compliment....jk but they are professionals and aren't going to risk years of studying just to look at one patient. just my .02
Yeah. I never change as fast any other time as when the Doc walks out of the room. I turn into the Roadrunner or something. It's crazy.
I do not like going to the doctor for any reason.
Having to strip is not as big of an anxiety for men I guess as it is for women. (I strip and walk naked through the shower room at my local gym) but I do not like having to go to the doctor for the physical.
The anxiety over the prostate test sometimes sends my blood pressure really high. (I will have to have it taken once or twice more before I leave because they think it is too high sometimes.)
You are normal. Going to the doctor is not pleasant.
