Would america be better?

would america be a better place if we never progressed forward? If African Americans were treated worse then they are now. If women were housewives with no rights. If we just killed babies with deformitys rather then try and help them live some what normal lives.

how do these things affect the country you live in. would it be better or worse.

No don't reverse but accel. when everyone is equil is when we will be in the best state. Because everyone is a person in reality, color gender etc shouldn't matter at all. But the since everyone is so power/ money happy it's going to be reallllly hard to get there.

If we never progressed forward we wouldn't have toilet paper, deodorant, or indoor plumbing.

But if you want to go around all smelly with a dirty ass crack and shit in the woods, well, you go right ahead but I'd appreciate you keeping your distance.

And don't get me started on those snazzy knee pants and powdered wigs.

"toilet paper, deodorant, or indoor plumbing"
All were invented long before the USA was thought of.

    No.

Though society was tightly controlled and racist/sexist, women were beat mercilessly and raped repeatedly by their husbands; constantly undermined and objectified. Injustice to black people in countless ways, to the point of living in fear. Gay people also lived in fear. Basically, if you weren't born a white man, then why are you even here at all.

Though society sucks now with extremist transgenders calling doctors gender terrorist (or some shit like that) for doing their job, extremist BLM, shootings, or the whole election nonsense; I would much rather deal with this bullshit then to go back in time to when no one had rights at all except for men of one group.

It's funny how you think society was tightly controlled. Freedom of speech has an evolution like anything else would.

      1. You can say what you want.
      2. You can say what others accept.
      3. Be careful what you say in front of others. You're job may depend on it.
      4. Make sure what you say is the accepted rhetoric.
      5. Saying whatever you want is a public offense, punished by jail.

That being said. What does "politically correct" sound like?

Those "same men of one group" founded the society you enjoy. Wouldn't you give yourself privilege for doing that?

those same men wouldn't exist if women weren't around to give birth to them.

Though I didn't mention the 1st Amendment, it seems that's what you're pissed about. Upset that everyone is starting to have a voice, and you want it to stop.

As much as you hate everyone having an opinion, no matter how ridiculous it sounds, deal with it. Understand that America, the world even, was never meant to stay the same, and you're a fool for wanting it to.

The first amendment was never mentioned. The "seems" you mentioned is emotional. Why are emotions a part of legislation?

I want intelligent people to rule the masses. I want intelligent opinion to make a difference.

The singularity we will return to.

Might have been better if it hadn't progressed from the 15th century.

The very reason why the United States of America existed is before of progress with the fundamental ideals of liberty.
