Would you consider this ocd ?

I live with 5 people, 1 dog and a parrot, so my place gets messy very quickly. I start work at 11 (wake up at 10) so when I wake up, the place is usually already messy from all the early birds that start work at 9. But I can't clean then.
I get out of work at 6 and I usually get home at 6:30. I take about an hour to smoke weed, and eat lunch. Then I start cleaning at 7:45.

Like I said my place gets very messy, so it takes me about 3-4 hours to complete the whole routine. Most of the time, I finish completely, sometimes I get lazy and leave it for next day. But only time consuming things like mopping or scrubbing the walls.

I'm not that crazy about cleaning, I don't get crazy when I can't clean. I just prefer things to be neat and clean with no bugs. But anyway, that's been my schedule everyday for the last 3-4 months. I think it's normal, and I think I wouldn't have to clean as hard if everyone else (my siblings) helped me out once in a while. But either way, things get done and the house gets cleaned.

I was just curious because today was my brothers birthday so the place was extremely messy, I started cleaning at 11pm and now it's 4:07am and I'm still not done. I can go to sleep anytime I like, but the place is still messy, and I don't wanna do double the work tomorrow, which makes me think that I have ocd..

Sounds like you live with a bunch of lazy pigs.

You don't sound OCD, you sound like a doormat. You just "lay there" and let everyone else in the house wipe their feet all over you. Personally, I'd start shovelling their mess on to their beds - whether they are in it or not.

    • I know, they're lazy assholes. But I don't want that mess in my house, I clean up after them whether I like it or not because I want the place to be clean. If you want something done right, do it yourself.

They won't do it, so I have to.
