No, but mostly because I wouldn't take myself from my loved ones to save something they don't love as much.
I might die trying to save my pet. I might also survive while saving them too.
I think my life is much more valuable than the life of an animal. As much as it would hurt to lose a pet, I would never sacrifice my life for one.
No, of course I'd try to save my pets, but not if it meant I'd die myself. My pets would do the same if my life needed to be saved, they're a bunch of scaredy cats lol

To answer your question, not that it really matters, yes I would. If you care about something that much, then you would sacrifice yourself to save a loved one. I can't really see why anyone would put their lives at risk to save a random animal - I'm sure a handful of people would though.

Why not? Animals are adorable and people seem to have a stronger attraction to them even more so than each other. I mean you could watch a person die no big deal unless you know them. However you hear about a cat or puppy dying and everyone is in tears. Perhaps its the fact we see the animal as something pure and innocent like a child.
I would, but me and my pet talked, and she would much rather save my life than have me save hers. She is the best cat ever.

To save a pet that's mine, or one I really love, yes. But not just any animal. Think about it. I wouldn't give my life up for a rodent, for example, or something that would rather eat me.
