Would you girls find it attractive if a guy can play guitar?

If you're really good then yes...quite a bit. My entire perception of someone can change when I find out they're a talented musician. All though there was this one time a really talented pianist started making advances toward me, but he was seriously awkward, creepy and clingy...his talent could only go so far for me.

Having a passion is attractive.

But it can be somewhat intimidating to someone that does not share the same passion.

You'd be a complete tool. Just like every other feminine teenage male with a Justin Bieber hair cut. You're a disgrace to your gender and to your generation. Unless you play heavy metal or rock in which case \M/.

I find talent to be the sexiest thing a guy could possibly offer personality wise. Especially musically talented, but that's because I'm also musically talented. Being passionate about it makes it even better.

Girls usually like performers. People who can not only play well, but perform in public. They find this attractive.

Does this only refer to rock music? I am 15 and play spanish guitar plus a bit of jazz. Started taking it seriously around six months ago, and I am already at grade 5 out of 8. Taught myself and have had three lessons so far.
I wouldn't play only to try and 'score' girls, but would be interested to know if the rules still apply.

After all those guys who sit on campus with their shirts off playing the one song they know and trying to act sensative to get in bed with dumb girls, the guitar has kind of turned into a douchey instrument in my opinion.. I like guys who can play the piano.

It doesn't make any difference to me if he plays the guitar or not. I don't find it attractive , just something normal. I'm trying to learn how to play the piano right now.

Tou do need also to have a good personality and it helps to be decent-looking, also. It's the total package that women are attracted to. Now listen to this: if you're a great musician but are a jerk, then forget it. Enjoy and grow with your music, get some maturity,groom nicely and you'll be on your way!

I guess it makes you unique, and in that sence more attractive. It is nice to come across people in life with a passion because it helps us appreciate eachothers differences, which is what I love about individuality. So your passion about the guitar would make you more attractive as it shows you are serious about something, rather than going through life without passion.
