I am in Africa, born and bred and I am looking to study abroad for my masters degree. The only place I can afford are Russia, Cyprus and India. My parents are saying no to Russia and Cyprus so India it is.. I guess. Would you move to India to study and possibly live there? I need opinions and if anyone has first hand knowledge or otherwise in regards to my chances of finding employers after I finish my masters. Is it safe? Help.

    All you can do is try it and see how you like it
    but would be best to look into it first hand and
    just don't move to India with blinders on cause
    it could be a mistake.

    If you moving in area where there is good living
    than it's worth giving it a try, i just wouldn't
    move in area where the water is poor and etc..

    I said yes. But also depends on what you part of Africa you are coming from and how you are used to living. If you went from a relatively poor part of Africa to India it's probably not much difference.

    But if you are from a richer, more developed area (e.g. S. Africa) you might find it's more of a culture shock moving to India.

      I am from Zimbabwe, it's very civilised here lol but I don't know what the comparison would be like to Gujarat that is where I would be moving. A girl I know told me that she lives in Gujarat and that it is a very safe clean city, I don't know.

    All 3 seem very odd choices, and very different from eachother to boot.

    Fuck Russia in it's entirety.

    Cyprus is beautiful... but on the downside I wouldn't want to be going anywhere near The Middle East right now. I'd be worried shit was going to hit the fan if I was in Cyprus.

    India seems an odd choice but it's a country I'd love to visit for the culture. I wouldn't live there because it's too big a culture shock for me, but I'd exhaust travelling there.

    Me personally, I'm looking West. I'm hoping to go live somewhere in Latin America for a while, probably Argentina or Brazil.

      I don't know how big of a culture shock India would be for me because I am from Africa, Zimbabwe, actually. I just know that I don't want to let this opportunity pass me by.

    Africa is a shit hole. Africans flush trash down sewers to clog them. You have to get out of that shit hole continent. It is disease ridden, violent, illiterate place, with rape and genocide for entertainment.
