Would you rather be with an ugly person you love or a highly attractive

I don't get it.. I couldn't be in love with a person I found personally, to be ugly. But at the same time, I wouldn't want to be with an "attractive" person if I'm not in love with them either

Looks are great for getting a foot in the door but cant hold anything meaningful by itself. I'd take my chances with someone I'd love.

I've dated both very attractive and less attractive people (but who were attractive to me because obviously if you're in love with someone you'll find them attractive regardless) and i've learned that both parties can be assholes so in the end it doesn't matter. I don't go on looks mainly anyway but on chemistry and chemistry I find has nothing to do with looks unless we're talking sexual chemistry which personally I have no experience of.
And the question is odd because if you love someone you would obviously not find them ugly even if they may not be "conventionally attractive" because if you look at the person and compare the person to others and think of how ugly they are then you don't love them and that's that.
