Those are both two horrible STDs that have been made livable (AIDS) or curable (Syphilis)

However these two diseases were among the worst in human history. AIDS was the first virus in human history to be 100% fatal until there was antiviral medication created.

If you want to see nightmares of a slow, gruesome, painful death, look up tertiary syphilis.

Which would you prefer?

    I'll take AIDS because "I have AIDS" sounds better at a dinner party than "I have tertiary syphilis"

      Well, with AIDS you get frequent bloody diarrhea which would fix your constipation.

    If I had to choose which to die from it would be aids. If it's just something I can catch its syphilis.

      Well the syph is curable as long as it’s catches early on and doesn’t cause any irreversible organ damage.

      HIV doesn’t typically turn into AIDS but you never get rid of the virus.

    I forgot to add I’d chose AIDS, which is kind of a boring, but long feverish death. I’d like to get HIV-induced fungal meningitis.
