Yelled at hr for pushing me to get flu shot

A very irritating person kept emailing me about getting a flu shot, then came up to me twice asking me if I had done it yet. The first time I politely explained I wasn't interested. The second time, I used an expletive to get my point across. A few days later I was given a stern lecture by my boss about just doing what HR asks, to stay under the 'radar'... no idea what that is supposed to mean. Is it normal for HR departments to be this intrusive?

my mom's boss told them they would be fired if they didn't get the flu shot. a lot of them went and got excuses from their dr's about why they couldn't get a flu shot. The boss was mad but their was nothing she could do.

It's probably better than getting the flu.

Normal but tell 'em where to go. I don't think they can force you to get it unless it's in your employment contract.

Just get the shot and stop being a little bitch. Problem solved.
