You have one hand full of food to give away, who gets it?

I prefer stray dogs, because they are innocent and in danger of ending up in a kill shelter, being poisoned by some loser who doesn't like dogs or is afraid of dogs and or just being hit and killed by a car. Lots of homeless people are addicted to drugs and or alcohol as well as being mentally ill people who refuse to take their medication. Lots of homeless people choose to live on the street instead of a group home or whatever, because they don't want to have to follow rules.

Of course if the dog is aggressive in any way I ain't gonna give him or her shit, and that goes double for a homeless person. Anyone that's pushy, intimidating or entitled about getting help doesn't deserve a damn thang.

One thing is for sure, I've had many more bad experiences with people than animals in my lifetime! I'd prefer a rat with a lovely personality to a person in a bad mood any day!

I'm pretty sure the dog belongs to the homeless men.
Give the food to the homeless man and he will share it with the dog.

If the homeless guy doesn't threaten to beat me up for giving him food instead of money like some of the ones in my area have, then it'll go to him. I'll feel bad for the doggie though. I'm probably overthinking this, but what kind of food is it? Can I feed the doggie the snacks I carry with me in my bag or car? I always carry a lot of snacks. Though I don't think a doggie would like tuna or protein bars.

I'd give it to the homeless man because dogs are better at finding rubbish food than humans are and can eat garbage which would make humans ill. I wouldn't like having the choice though so maybe I'd just drop a bit on the way to handing it to the homeless man
