You know you're addicted to is it normal when...

You're walking down the street, remember something hilarious someone here said, and have to fight back laughter.

You hear or see something in the middle of the day and think "when I get home, I'm going to ask IIN if that was normal".

You would rather ask an awkward question on IIN than to someone face-to-face.

You know the nuances of some members' "e-speech" so well you can sometimes tell who they are without reading their username.

You see something in real life and think to yourself "that reminds me of that time on IIN when...".

Six or seven of the things on that list apply to me :P But I could totally stop whenever I want <_<

Haha, you think in IIN questions during a discussion: "sexual fantasies seem to get stranger and stranger the more i fantasize... Is it normal for fantasies to get stranger each time?"

When you have an hour to study for a test and you are meandering through IIN. You justify this by saying it will help you relax for the test.

You have a rapid heart beat that persists until you open IIN.

Your significant other threatens to break up with you if you don't quit sitting on IIN all day.

You think to yourself that would make a good question on IIN but then spend ages trying to remember what it was when you actually log on to the website.

I think it's when you try to leave but keep coming back that you START your addiction (which could also be the "You can't stay away longer than three days." option). The others are just additives and/or deeper levels of your addiction.

The ones mentioned above, both in the poll options and comments, and:

You pass by a bench in a square in your city and go "Oh! This is where I was sitting when I created the dog poll";

You meet a friend and think "Ooooh, that's riiight, it was their story I asked about on IIN... should I tell them the results?";

Your internal dialogue happens in "Post Reply!" format;

Your dreams no longer involve people from your life outside of IIN;

You recognize, unwittingly, a few original posters.

You might be addicted to IIN if your sense of humor has become so strange and warped that all your friends start looking at you funny.

It used to be many of those points but due to being pretty much stressed in school or just gaming too much I don't visit IIN as often and long as I used to :(

I show at least half of those symptoms.

I think I've done all these but the 15 minute one and going on chat all the time.

But it's more or less a product of being here so long rather than how long I'm here on a day to day basis.

Okay, I have a lot of these, lol :D I usually know who is going to post on what. I do refresh my page a lot, and this is pretty much the first place I check whenever I wake up in the mornings. I have it saved in my favorites, though, so I don't need to type it in a search engine or adress bar.

The first thing i do when I wake up IS check IIN.
