I used to have some red ones on my legs, they’ve since faded to white. Nearly everyone has them and they’re not a sign that you’re unhealthy or overweight.
Skin is just an organ that gets slightly damaged every time you move or brush up against something. Of course theres going to be blemishes, marks from general wear and tear. Completely natural. Not widely aesthetically pleasing but that's why cosmetology was invented.
I have stretch marks on my legs. Its funny how growing up affects your body in natural ways
I used to have stretch marks around my hips which was very perplexing as I've always been in great shape for longevity purposes and have never fluctuated in weight. They didn't really bother me but they all but completely faded over the course of the decade proceeding showing up seemingly randomly.
I mostly see them in women and honestly how I perceive them just depends on the stretch marks. Some are cute and at general worst some are possibly an incredibly minor flaw that wouldn't stick out to me unless I was being maximum superficial and prioritizing them over countless more important superficial things regarding a woman's body.
If they're the result of having given birth they're just awe-inspiring though. Like damn this bish grew a whole ass person with her body. I've never done anything like that! Awesome!
They're very normal. Most people have them, even if they've never been overweight or pregnant. I have some very light ones on my inner thighs, hips, and breasts, mostly from having a very rapid growth spurt in my early teens. I pretty much have to look for them in order to notice them, so I don't fret about them. It is just a natural part of life and nearly everyone has them to some degree.
They’re both normal and not nice to look at. I have a lot of stretch marks, mainly on my stomach, as I really let myself go when the quarantine started and put on a fuckton of weight really quickly. I had a few before because puberty and all that but now I genuinely look like a zebra. I’ve lost a lot of the weight now but I still have bright red ‘fresh’ stretch marks all over my stomach and lower sides and I honestly hate them. I hope they fade eventually but if they don’t I’m genuinely considering getting them professionally removed. Everyone has an insecurity or two, stretch marks just happen to be mine.
Good thing I lost my stretch marks on my legs, my legs are a bit loose since then.
My stretch marks are massive. I refer to them as a belt. No ones ever complained. I don’t really notice them anymore. I’ve had two kids. I’m not ashamed. 🤷🏾♀️
Idk why people are ashamed for Mark's on their body especially when they weren't intentional. Like scars and stretch marks. Those just tell history.
Teeth are another issue entirely. Since teeth are a good indicator for general health and maintenance. Skin is just as telling but can be from more than one issue or condition ie eczema
I have a lot of those all over my body: one in my right arm, upper legs and hip, one above the back of my right foot. I personally don't like them and I have been made into not liking them since my family thinks they're not nice for some reason.
As ugly as I think they are, it’s 210% normal and just a fact that when you get fat (by pregnant or by weight gain) and then loose it, you gonna have stretchy loose skin.
I got them from pregnancy. It felt like a huge deal at the time but now you can't even really see them anymore because they've faded so much.
Stretch Mark's are a part of life. Everyone has them.
My knees got them when I was a kid and I was growing. My ass and boobs have a bunch because I used to be a 200 pounds. I somehow never got them on my stomach meanwhile everyone else I knew that was 200 pounds or more have them there.
